Maria Teresa was born at the shores of the port in Buenos Aires, on the province side of the bridge in La Boca, where she lived part of her childhood. All her adolescent years were spent in Quilmes, a suburb of Buenos Aires, where she attended elementary and high school.
Her initiation to tango began in 1982 when she met a journalist named Jorge Izraelson while working as an assistant in his dinner- tango- show located in the neighborhood of San Telmo. There she had the opportunity to meet prominent celebrities of tango like Pugliese, Armando Pontier, Goyeneche and Edmundo Ribero amongst others.
Maria Teresa, following her aptness in public relations, worked in TELAM (a newspaper agency) in the commercial department.
She studied various subjects in the UADE, refining herself in communication and leadership. She studied beauty, hairdressing and cosmetics with renown international companies, participating in competitions and exhibitions where she was granted |
awards of excellence. To perfect herself in this vocation she traveled to Italy, France and Switzerland. She completed courses at the Italian hairdressers school “Studio Hair International” directed by Rino Farano and Franco Romano and participated in a seminar with the champion of Berlin Elia Bortolotto. She assisted the first course of “Para Ti, make-up en vivo”, along with excellent professionals.
Today Maria Teresa has committed herself to tango once again, in a revival of the united group of Bien Porteño, in charge of coordination. |
